We will be having a game night, where we’ll play Left Right Center (LRC) . We usually have a big crowd, so we have two LRC games going at once, to keep anyone from getting bored.

Tokens

  • Each player must have three handmade polymer clay tokens to play. (Make your tokens at the retreat!)
  • At the start of the game, one token is kept in front of the player and one token is placed on each tray.

Game Play

  • Two games are started at once at equal distances around the circle with one tray each.
  • Games continue clockwise.
  • Player rolls die.
  • If an L is rolled, a token is taken from the player to the left.
  • If an R is rolled, a token is taken from the player to the right.
  • If a C is rolled, a token is taken from the center.
  • If the same letter is rolled multiple times, then that’s how many tokens the player can take if that quantity is available.
  • If a dot is rolled, no action is taken.
  • If a player does not have any tokens in front of them, they still get to take a turn to try to get tokens back.
  • Play continues until all tokens have been taken from both trays.
  • Once this happens, everyone gets to keep the tokens in front of them.
